Last year, the Brandon Development Foundation sold Block 3 Lots 1 and 2 in the Rovang Industrial Park to Engineered Truss Systems, Inc., an affiliate of Lloyd Companies Inc. They manufacture high-quality wood trusses, Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) beams and headers, and wood floor trusses. It is estimated that the new plant will employ approximately 30 people once operational and add roughly $12,500,000 in additional assessed property value to the City of Brandon. The facility is estimated to begin operations in November 2023.
Project Update: The City of Brandon recently issued the company a grading permit to begin construction at the site. The facility site plan and other aspects of the operation are still under review.
