55th Annual
Loyalty Day
Parade

The Parade will begin "staging" in the High School Park lot at 11:00AM, and will commence at 1:00PM. At the conclusion of the Parade, a free bicycle drawing will be provided to the kids. Additionally, Buddy Poppies will be sold at Sunshine on Saturday, May 6th from 9:00-11:00 by the Loyalty Day Poppy Prince Jett Koll and Poppy Princess Olivia Jackson.

Wellness Week

Come together for a week of wellness fun filled with tips, recipes, contests, and much more promoting health and wellness in the Brandon Community.

The event is scheduled for May 1st - 7th.

SAFETY TOWN!

Looking for an activity for your 5-6 year old this summer? Consider SAFETY TOWN! Safety Town is a two week safety program offered in Brandon. Children ages five and six years old will learn safety behavior through hands on learning activities under the supervision of a Brandon Police Officer and a teacher.

City of Brandon
50th Anniversary Celebration

The City of Brandon is turning 50 years old! Activities and events to celebrate are currently being planned by a planning committee consisting of both staff and residents. Your comments and ideas are need to help narrow down the list! 

The celebration is scheduled for July 21st - 23rd.

Water Lantern Festival

As the sun begins to set on the evening sky, the Water Lantern Festival begins to shine with the launch of the lanterns into the water as we Light the Water together. Watch your unique lantern drift out into the water as it joins other lanterns carrying hope, love, happiness, healing, peace, and connection. It's a night that you'll never forget.

The event is tentatively scheduled for September 2nd.

Adopt-A-Highway
Litter Clean Up

Come join the Water Conservation Committee on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 9:00AM-11:00AM and help clean up litter along Holly Blvd between Sioux Blvd and 6-Mile Road.

Meet at the Sioux Valley Energy parking lot for safety vests and trash bags. Gloves will also be provided, but bringing your own is preferred.
